Surviving From Loss exists so no widow or widower will have to walk through grief alone.   Surviving From Loss is a nonprofit ministry serving widows and widowers through encouragement, community, classes, events, connection, and care. It is a place where you do not have to explain every feeling before someone understands. Others in the room know what it means to face life after the death of a spouse.

You can come quietly.
You can listen before you speak.
You can take things at your own pace.
You do not have to have everything figured out.

Whether your loss is recent or many years old, Surviving From Loss offers a safe and compassionate place to begin taking the next step.

Through grief support classes, gatherings, friendships, and ongoing encouragement, widows and widowers are reminded that they are not forgotten and not alone.

If you are looking for community, encouragement, and a place where your grief will be met with understanding, Surviving From Loss would be honored to welcome you. You were not meant to walk through grief alone.

Grief after the loss of a spouse can feel especially lonely. Even when family and friends care deeply, they may not fully understand the quiet, the decisions, the memories, and the daily changes that come when the person who shared your life is no longer beside you. That is one of the reasons Surviving From Loss exists.
